AUSTIN, TX July 18, 2008 Technology continues to evolve by leaps and bounds, and the role it plays in the real estate industry is a vital one. The Keller William’s Northwest Market Center (NWMC) in Austin, Texas recognizes that value-add, and has recently taken initiative to enhance their agents’ education in the field of technology. The KW Geek Affair stems from the motivation to bring not just ideas, but actual business tools directly to agents for review. Goomzee.com, an innovator in the real estate technology field, was chosen by Keller William’s as the exclusive mobile marketing and lead generation vendor for the event.

Roland Castillo, Career Development Coach at the NWMC, and Michael Brandt of United Lending brainstormed the idea for the event in May. Its premise: bring together real estate technology vendors to help agents learn more about technology readily available to enhance their real estate business. A month later, the event took place.
